She is also a volunteer Child Advocate in her community in the state of Georgia, working with elected officials, community leaders, the Department of Juvenile Justice and the Juvenile Courts to promote the prevention of abuse and neglect for at-risk children. She is also responsible for soliciting funding for specialized prevention programs. Ms. Seaver also served as a consultant to the Savannah Family Institute, raising funds for and promoting the parent/child program "Parenting with Love & Limits."
Having served on several boards and committees in her community, Ms. Seaver has several years of experience in fundraising and community activism, working with groups such as the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), nominated in 2008 to Vice Chairman of the Board, Martin de Porres Society, the Rape Crisis Center of Savannah, Blessed Sacrament Home School and Senior Citizens, Inc.
